Being an animal lover since early childhood, I always felt that I had more of an understanding with animals than with people. Having grown up with dogs and horses, I feel a particular passion for painting these beautiful animals and hope that my paintings show the love and knowledge I feel when painting them. I have my own beautiful horse and dog, paintings of both are on this site and some photos of them below.

I always wanted to be a Vet when I was young and felt a need to heal animals to help in their suffering. I never became a Vet but have now (many years later) rediscovered my healing passion and started a journey in Animal Healing. I am currently studying a Diploma Course in Animal Healing with Elizabeth Whiter in West Sussex, which covers Dogs, Cats & Small Animals and when I qualify in September 2010, will go on to study Equine Healing for another 6 mths. From there, I would then like to study Zoopharmacognosy, which is where animals self-medicate from natural sources such as Herbs, Clays, Algae etc which I find absolutely fascinating!

My other passion is painting Wildlife, particularly big cats, I love to show the sheer power in their muscles. I am in the process of working on some paintings to exhibit at the Marwell Wildlife Art Exhibition in Hampshire (the largest Wildlife Exhibition in the world). I have never exhibited before so is a whole new world to me!

The majority of the photos I use to paint from are supplied by a wonderful Hampshire based Charity 'Big Cat Conservation', to which I donate a percentage of all sales produced from this work, including originals, prints & cards. I bought Herbie when he was 9 months old and actually managed to get a decent photo of him here! He was bred from an Arabian Stud run by Joanna Lowe in Warwickshire, (only 12 miles from where I myself was born!) and was bred for Arab Racing. He is a lovely horse with a kind nature and I've never looked back since owning him

Jessie is half Border Collie - half Bearded Collie and she is now 6 yrs, my baby! She is my best friend and I just don't know what I would do without her!
